Well, here it is! All done except the border and some blocking. I have to say, I love it!
So, this is probably the last you will see of it until I get it completely done! I haven't exactly decided on my border yet. I do have a couple of ideas I am toying with. I would happy to hear any suggestions y'all could give me!
Everyone have a great week!!

Wow, that is just gorgeous! I love the radiant effect the design creates. Just beautiful. This will be one very cozy afghan!
ReplyDeleteI would do either many rows of red for the border, or if I were feeling a little more colorful, maybe start with an off white section of a few rounds, then a single round of red, then a few rounds of green, a single round of red, then a few rounds of blue, and finish it off with a round of red and then a round of reverse single crochet in red.
Whatever you do will be gorgeous!

I think I'd do just one row of reverse single crochet (crab stitch) in a solid color to frame the lovely colorful design. The red or the dark green would work for me. The afghan would like something to set it off, not compete -- just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteAs always, your work is gorgeous.
LOVE!!! Can't wait to see what kind of border you pick.
ReplyDeleteYou and your blanket...amazing! The way those individual squares come together to create that pattern...wow-eeeeeeee! Love it. Annette
