50 is not so bad!

Well, I've been a full week out of my "40 somethings" and I have to say, 50 is not so bad!  I feel creative and happy!  I do think things get busier the older you get though.  The one think I want to do now is de-clutter!  I think from helping with moving Brad's mom into assisted living it has me thinking.  "I have a lot of stuff!"  Too much.  So, the spring cleaning mode is on full steam.  Use it or lose it.

I am also on a spray paint kick.  This weekend something is getting spray painted green...it's happening!!

That's it for now.  I will be back this weekend with some hooky granny square pictures!

    Congratulations, I also do fifty years in June. I think age is a GOLD. I wish much happiness and success in your life.

    Well, what is the alternative to age? We are such a long time not young it seems silly to worship it. Especially considering that for most of our young years you are considered too young and too silly! We have a maximum of probably 8 years where we consider we are at optimum age - maybe between 22-30 after that we think we are 'old'. It's so ridiculous and we need to stop it. And stop apologising for our age. I'm 47 and it's no better or worse than any other time. It has it's good bits and bad bits. Just life really.

    Golly, you're all young chicks! I'm going to be 69 in a few weeks and I don't know how it happened, but I'm still here, creating and having fun!

    I will ring in that double number this November! I have never had an issue with age until I met someone eight years my junior. However, inside I feel like a kid most days so go figure!

    l will be the big seven Ohhhh next yr... l dont feel old..BUT my body does...Age is just a state of mind.. Yeah right on !!!
    l reckon crochet, knitting helps one stay young at heart..
    Thats my theory anyway..
