Greetings from the back porch!  It's so nice to have today off of work, and I enjoyed my morning fussing around the back porch with my plants.  I bought a can of red spray paint.  Can you tell???  LOL!  I sure like the new life it gave this old flower pot.  Looks right at home, don't you think?

My "Meditation Shawl" has been totally frogged and started over.  I totally calculated wrong, and it came out insanely too long!  So, I did it, reluctantly, but yes, ripped it completely out and started over.  Pictures will be coming soon of my progress!

I would like to share some pictures of my shirret rugs, which I have been meaning to post and finally getting around to it.  Pretty?
Don't you just love em?
I'm hoping for a very productive and creative week...off work all week long!  Yay!!!  I so need it.  I am spending it at home, which I truly love, and looking forward to the down time and having no schedule!!  Hoping to get some knitting done and odd projects that have sat on the back burner!  Maybe even a daily blog posting!

Tah-tah!

I love your back porch... the rugs are very pretty... and red spray paint... me, too... I am going through a black and red phase... keeping the spray paint company in business... I spray painted an old wooden chair red and love it... added to the other black rocker, glider and chairs... it makes the back porch sparkle... I love, love your grannies... your color combo's are always so soothing and pleasing to the eyd...
