That's exactly how I feel! Like I am quilting with yarn...but I think this is way more fun that quilting! I am thrilled with how this is coming together. I have unravelled blocks, resewn them together, until finally I'm pretty pleased with the pattern.
So does Girlie! I think she likes it.
I am enjoying watching the bands of colors come to life. You can see a blue band coming. I also have some brown in my basket that I will be using.
So, since I have Phoebe's seal approval, I am continuing on! Also, I am thinking I may make another after this blanket to coordinate with it. Maybe for my bedroom. Oh, if I only had more hours in my day to do all I want to do!
I'm off for now, my crochet hook is calling!

Just gorgeous Dawn! I love that pattern! Pup is adorable!
I love the look of your "quilted afghan." Love the colors your using -- so pretty!
Lovin' it!
This is gorgeous! I want to make one like this....I love it! When you get done, could you also list the yarns you used too, please. I think I recognize some of them.....the colors are just so yummy & cozy!
Have just found your blog, and it looks great! I can see I'm going to be here for a while, exploring all your fab crochet creations.

This is my first visit and I have really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful colours and yarns you are creating with. I too was bitten by the knitting thing about 2 years ago and, yes, it IS a yarn thing. I am looking forward to my first crochet class soon.
Your work is beautiful; such rich colours.
That little Phoebe! She is just soooooo sweet! Those eyes! You must just eat her up! She looks to be a very devoted companion! Dogs are THE BEST! And I love your blanket too! Wonderful colors and pattern! Can't wait to see those new colors you mention and how they will work into your pattern! x&o, Annette
I have always wanted to try a log cabin design. Yours is so warm and cozy - love the colors! Perfect for warming up on an autumn day. =)
