Granny-gon Progression

Just a quick little Sunday evening post to let everyone know I am progressing with my blanket.  I couldn't stand it and had to sew together some of the octagons to see how it was going to look.  I Like it Much!!  I am so anxious for warm sunny weather to get here so I can get pictures of it outside in the proper light.  Here it has a purple/pinkish look.  Red is so hard to photograph.  It is truly red!

More to come next week!

Hey Dawn,

I am such a fan. I stalk your blog. I would still like to join your knitting/crochet group. I live in Summerfield and love to crochet. I wanted to ask a question.. I love granny squares but was curious how you block yours? They all seem so nice and flat and consistant in size. Any tips??
Thanks Cindy

@ Cindy, I find that when you seam them together it makes them lay flat and looks as if you have blocked them. If you would send me your email address I will make sure you get one the next time we meet. I'm afraid we are a bit scattered right now and haven't been meeting every week like we used to.
