Hoot - Hoot!

Isn't he cute!!  I got a creative bug this week, and it wouldn't allow me to work on anything else until I sat down and worked it out.  So I jumped right in with my hook and yarn and this is what I ended up with.
and this.....

and these!

I also wrote up the pattern and it is in my etsy shop ready to go.

It takes all but an hour to crochet one up.  What I find the most fun of the whole thing is adding the embroidery stitches, it brings them to life.  Could you see a Christmas Tree covered in these???  I actually have Fall decorating ideas for them, I am not quite ready for the whole Christmas thing yet.

Today is dark and rainy.  After the heat we've had, it feels great.  I have ribs to fix for supper, along with some green beans and potatoes, the new Hunger Games blueray, what else could anyone ask for?   Oh, I know...a little hookie time!

They are cute! You could decorate a variety of ways with them. I can see them sitting in a grapevine wreath....
