Just a quick little post to share this picture I found while surfing on the internet. When I saw it, I said to myself, "now that is cool!"
Agree?
I am not sure how these are backed, they look pretty stiff. I was thinking maybe a sheet of plastic canvas sandwiched between two layers of granny squares.
This is another idea that is going into my want to do vault!
They look like they are pretty easy to make and would make great Christmas gifts! Which is not far away!
Just had supper and ready to sit down with some yarn. I cannot have anything else to eat for the rest of the evening. I'm having another epidural steroid injection in the morning. I am hoping this will help my back out. I would so much love to get back to walking at the track again! As it stands now, I wouldn't be able to make one lap! :-(
Fortunately I have plenty of projects to keep myself busy!

Those placemats are lovely! I was just thinking the other day that the Tunisian Short Row dishcloths would make interesting placemats or hot pads if made big enough and layered together too.
Hope you are back on the track soon!

I am in love!!!
Those are great! Thanks for sharing Dawn! The ideas are spinning in my head now. Not good for the list of "to do's". :)
Hope you feel better. Glenn used to have back problems off and on for a while. Then the doctor put him in those steroid pills that you take so many the 1st day and then one less the next, on so on. And then sent him to a physical therapist (instead of a chiropractor, Dr. doesn't like them) and after a few treatments there, Glenn has not had a problem with his back for 3 yrs.
I hope you have a great day Dawn!
