So, when in Asheville at SAFF, I was in this cool little shop where they were selling these little owls made from scraps of fabric and buttons. Got me to thinking...and you know...that can be a dangerous thing!
Sorry for all the pictures, but they are so freaking cute I can't stand it. And yes, I will be writing up the pattern. BTW...knitters, they would be cute knit up, too!!!!
What a great vacation I'm having....just chilling and working on all these ideas I have not had time to work up!
I'll be back!
So, can you stand the cuteness????
I sure can't!
And I am completely out of control!!
Look at the Owlie in a little bit of Noro!

Oh my! What does the hubby think of all the owlies taking over the house? They ARE too freaking cute!
Dawn Those are just adorable! Very talented!
When you need testers for this pattern, please keep me in mind. I have worked on one of my own, but I like the eyes of these so much better.
hola estoy enamorada de esos adorables búhos son muy simpáticos y tentadores para hacerlos para esta navidad , si no te molesta que tome prestado tu modelo , realmente son tentadores un beso desde aquí la argentina.
No, I cannot stand the cuteness! Ack! Too cute. I think I like the simple look of these a little better than the others even.
Yes, these are ridiculously cute!!!
These are, how we say in Louisiana, "da bomb"! (meaning the best ever)
They sure are cute Dawn :-)
Want.
Hi Dawn , I just love your Owlies and I've already made a few of my own inspired by them . I've posted about tyem today and linked back to your Flickr and blog. Hope that's ok .
I am in love, love, love. Owl heaven.
These are lovely.
Love these - can't wait for the pattern!!
Hi Dawn, My name is Anna, I just found you blog through Jacquie (bunny mummy).
I love the owls and would love to give them a try. Just yesterday I downloaded a pattern for a cute amigurumi owl pillow, these would go great with with it as a Xmas gift.
Thank you.
I CANNOT wait for the pattern! So cute! I want to make a gaggle of them... you did an ADOREable job!!!
NO, can not stand the cuteness! LOL.
Lovely!
(Hi Anna!)
Saludos, Lorena.
Sounds like you are having a blast! :) Love the owls. Tell us more bout the knitting ones. I confess, I always have to have a pattern to make something. You are so talented you can look at something and re-create it. Hope you write up a knitted pattern, too. Can't wait to see all your pics from vacation. I bet the trees are so full of color there. :)
So much cuteness. They look so good in little groups, all with little personalities of their own. I think I may be getting carried away.
