Sunflower Whimsy!

This week I've been crocheting more sunflowers.  Playing with different ideas and colors, and vintage buttons.  I love em...they are so folk-artish.  The one in the middle has already found its home on the wall in my kitchen.
I attached this on to a granny square which is doubled, then added some beads.

I think they make cute pincushions too.  I put some batting in this one.  It is nice and poofy!  I have another one in the works with some pretty orange yarn!

I am now promising, on my honor as a Girl Scout, that I will be posting the pattern for you all!!

Had a very fun trip to Goodwill Friday at lunch and found much of this glass for a little bit of nothing!!
They are so pretty when the sun hits them.  I gifted two that I made last week to a friend, and she loved them!!
This one I also glued these little colored pieces of glass to.  I am using an Arte Craft Goop glue which seems to be doing the trick.  It is a little stinky, but I don't mind it.  Once the glue sets up the smell goes away!  I am thinking of making some of these for the Fall Craft Show I participate in.

Sadly, the weekend is coming to an end!  Seems there is never enough time.  Come back and see me next week.  I hope to have the sunflower pattern posted by then!

Hi Dawn, I must tell you that I'm completely in love with your sunflowers. I find them pretty of course, but also colorfull, and perhaps with a little something from childhood, as when we were kids, we always drew sunflowers or big flowers. I'm waiting also with excitement your pattern. Have a great weekend!
